• My prayers and condolences to Maureen’s family, friends and coworkers. I have had the pleasure of working with Maureen as her job coach in the CAHRD SPF 6 month entry level entry level job training program. She demonstrated a strong commitment to reach her employment/career and personal goals. She successfully completed the program and was hired by the Neeginan Centre working in the breakfast program. Preparing and serving breakfast for the students in educational programs offered within the Neeginan Centre. She transitioned to the maintenance department on a part part time basis and was currently employed with the Neeginan Centre. She was currently enrolled in post secondary training to further her career goals and aspirations. As a Environmental Community Support Worker. She was excited and proud of her grades. She expressed to me that she appreciated all the support she has received from her family and others involved in her journey. Maureen was still working for us part-time and had just started a new training program. Maureen was a dedicated trainee and employee who always had a beautiful smile. • Moe will be missed by many I myself am heartbroken. I still can’t believe she’s gone my beautiful Moe. I loved her as my own daughter and because of Covid I couldn’t even buy a card and the family can’t even have a proper funeral. I sure hope they can do something when this pandemic is over.
