JOHN WILLIAM KNIGHT
He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Helen.
He is survived and loved by his daughter Krista (Darrell); his brother Robert (Lorraine) and sister Doreen.
He was a free spirit who enjoyed travelling in his younger years. He had a passion for gardening, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed taking walks on the golf course which started his hobby of collecting golf balls. Before his illness he could be found enjoying a cold beer at his local Legion and likely watching a Winnipeg Jets game. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
His family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre T3N and T3S for their kindness and compassion over the last few years.
A private family interment will take place at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or Deer Lodge Centre Foundation.

John was one of my closes friend through our school years in Norwood!! He excelled at Basketball, Baseball,and football!! He will be dearly missed by friends and family!!
