February 23, 1937 - May 21, 2021
Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She enjoyed bingo, keno, game shows, casino trips and most of all spending time with her family.
Predeceased by her husband John; parents, Rose and Pete; brother Nick; sons, Edmond John Vital (Edward) and Wayne.
Mom leaves behind her children, Gordon, Rose (Ken), Debbie (Frank), Gail (Bill), John and Ron (Karen); grandchildren, Leigh (Bobby), Thomas, Melissa (Chris), Charice, Jordon, Steven (Anna), Eddie (Lana) and Stephen; several great-grandchildren, and dear friend May, along with numerous extended family members and friends.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Health Science Center 6H, for the care they gave Mom during her stay. Thank you to palliative care staff at Riverview Health Centre for making Mom's last hours comfortable and peaceful.
Her wishes of cremation have taken place with a private family service at a later date.

Dan and I want to extend our thoughts for the family and your loss. I know how close you all were to Marie. Marie will always hold a special place in our lives. Her sense of humor and the sometimes shock value of her comments will be missed. She was always so upbeat about her life and simple things and gestures always made her happy.
