JOHN VALIMAKI
John was born in Sortavala, Finland, August 12, 1929 and moved to Canada in his earlier years.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Kay, of 60 years, in 2016.
He will be lovingly missed by his family in Finland, his sister-in-law Dorothy and her three children and grandchildren, his friends of many years, Heka and Joanne.
John will be loved and missed by his specials friends, George, Colleen, Andrea, Kevin, Christi and Ian, who without their support would have been difficult to sustain in his beloved home.
In keeping with John's wishes, there will be no funeral.
Cremation has taken place.
If parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered Joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I too shall miss.
