ALFREADA FRANCIS PASS
(nee TOKARZ)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alfreada Pass, dearest wife, mother and grandmother, on October 22, 2021, at Concordia Hospital, in Winnipeg at the age of 92.
Born May 15, 1929 in Saskatchewan she grew up drawn to teaching children. In 1953 she married her late husband Ted in Creelman, SK, finally settling down in the Windsor Park area raising her four children. She had a passion for gardening and loved spending time out at the lake making her grandchildren blueberry pancakes and "radio" donuts.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Ted, her sister Claudette Beltramini and her daughter-in-law Joanne Pass.
Alfreada will be sadly missed by her children, Ken (Celeste), Philip, Beverly and Don; four grandchildren, Tiffaney, Kaetlyn (Graham), Melanie (Travis) and David (Marisa); great-grandson Winston, her sister Matilda Erickson and brother Florian (Cecilia) Tokarz.
A private family funeral will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alfreada's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or Heart and Stroke Foundation, Manitoba.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • My parents were good friends with Ted and Alfreda. Before Ted passed he told Alfreda, she had to keep in contact with my parents. When my parents passed, she used to write a Christmas card and always included a long story of events during the year. Ted insisted she do this, not just send a signed card! I so loved to get the Christmas cards and informative note. Pictures of her puppy etc. was always in the card too. Last year and year prior I missed receiving the cards. Today I was thinking of her and remembered how I loved to hear from her. Omg how sad to search and find this obituary. My deepest sympathy to the family from myself and my sister Sophie. - Posted by: Mary Paraszczak (Daughter of metro and Fanny Paraszczak ) on: Dec 24, 2022

  • Phil, Tiffany and Melanie, my deepest sympathy on another great loss in your family. I can only imagine the pain you are feeling at this time. Wonderful memories will help you through this difficult time. - Posted by: Sue Heim (Friend/patient) on: Oct 30, 2021
