JOSEPH POELL
January 1, 1940 – November 30, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle, Joseph (Joe) Poell, who passed away peacefully on November 30, 2021 at the age of 81.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, John and Rosaline Poell and his brother-in-law Alex (Ewacha).
He is survived by his sister Violet (Alex) and brother Frank (Carol). Mourning the loss of their uncle is Curtis (Jacqueline), Terry (Vicki), Sherry (Ray), Jackie, Rachel (Dallas), and Cara. He is also survived by his many great-nieces and great-nephews as well as a great-great-niece.
Joe worked in the family business with his dad cutting wood and also raised cattle and grain farmed until his retirement. Joe enjoyed photography, spending time with his friends, playing cards and bingo, and was very active at the Middlebro Community Hall. Joe was kind with a big heart, was always willing to help someone in need, and was well liked by everyone. Joe will be forever missed by his family and friends and will never be forgotten.
A memorial celebration of Joe's life will be held in Spring 2022 which is to be announced at a later date. Special thanks to the Vita & District Personal Care Home and their staff for their wonderful care and kindness that they gave Joe during his years spent there.
