SHIRLEY ANN BECKETT
Shirley Ann Beckett (nee Robinson) passed away peacefully on February 4, 2022, at Mount St. Mary Hospital in Victoria, British Columbia, aged 87.
Shirley was born January 12, 1935, in Cheam, Surrey, England. She came to Canada in 1957, landing first in Montreal and then, in 1960, settling in Winnipeg where she married, raised her family in St. Vital, and worked for many years as a legal secretary. Moving from Winnipeg to Victoria in 1997, she retired there in 2001 and enjoyed an active life in retirement.
Shirley will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughter Lynda (Kevin) and sons, Bryan (Tracy) and Daryl; granddaughters, Laurel, Willow, Kelsey, Mikayla and Daryl-Hannah, and grandson Barry; great-grandson Carter; sister-in-law Joan Robinson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members in England and Canada.
Cremation has taken place in accordance with Shirley's wishes.
