HELEN MARIE (TELGARSKY) OWENS
March 4, 1933 – November 23, 2022


A Celebration of Helen's Eternal Birth
Born March 4, 1933 on a small farm south of St. Adolphe, MB. Moved to Winnipeg to work in September 1949. Married to late, beloved husband Leo Dennis Owens August 1957 until his passing August 1968.
Predeceased by mother Maria, father John and brother Joseph.
Survived by, and immensely missed by, her three loving daughters Catherine Anne (Peter), Cheryl Monica (Darcy), Dale Maria. Adored by her grandchildren Kye, Cullen, Sarah, Zachary, Aaron, Desiree and Nathaniel, second grandma to Kendra and Kortnie. She will be greatly missed by her cherished sisters Susan Owens and Marguerite Riel, brother-in-law Aurele (Edna) Owens and all of her many very special nieces and nephews.
Mom welcomed retirement in 1991 to enjoy time with family, friends, sports, travel and volunteer work.
We will forever honour and hold dear Mom's humble yet warrior-like inner strength and faith, her love of the simple joys in life and her smiling, always grateful positive attitude.


WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK! THE SUN IS SHINING BRIGHTLY UPON YOU MOM. YOU HAVE NOW ENTERED INTO THE FAMILY OF THE "BIG 3" -
FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT!


Celebration of Life to be held at Blessed Sacrament Parish - Kern Park, 710 Roanoke St., Winnipeg, MB, Monday, December 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. - with burial and gathering to follow at Green Acres Funeral Home - Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road.
In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to Doctors without Borders.
