JANICE KLASSEN

On November 27, 2022, my mother Janice May Klassen of Chilliwack, British Columbia, suddenly passed away into God's graces. Janice was born on May 25, 1944 in Winnipeg. A warrior throughout life, she was 78 years old.
She is survived by many loving individuals, including her husband, Peter, her siblings June and Jim, and her daughter, Sherry. She was predeceased by her parent, May Balaban, and her sister Helen.
Janice was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.
There will be a Celebration of Life held in Spring of 2023 and will update our memorial website with that info as soon as we have it.

  • Janice was many things to me including friend, sister, mentor, and so much more. There are so many wonderful memories we made together and her loving nature always made me cherish our relationship. Among many talents she was an amazing artist who convinced me to start painting. She was always interested in my work in progress and truly gave me the praise and guidance that a new artist needs. I will miss you so much. RIP. - Posted by: Shirley mcclune (Sister-in-law ) on: Dec 27, 2022

  • I Teasdale Janice. I was her "brudder". Her wonderful patient nature always put up with me. Our early lives had many trying times and we spent many years apart. Coming together only rarely. Age softened us and we became what brother and sister should be. Many loving phone calls, duo, and very much enjoyed visits. I am very appreciative of those times. She made me feel happy. She will be remembered and loved love past the time l have here. - Posted by: James Balaban (Brother) on: Dec 27, 2022
