SHEILA JOYCE BREEN
1929 - 2022
Sheila passed away on December 17, 2022 in Victoria, after a short battle with cancer.
She will be remembered for her dauntless spirit, her devotion to her family and friends, her quick wit, and her ongoing determination to grow and expand her horizons. Those who knew her will be unsurprised by the grace and resolve with which she accepted her last weeks.
Over many years, Sheila made significant efforts to support a number of worthwhile causes. As one of her final contributions, she arranged to donate most of her possessions to those in need in her community.
Sheila is survived by her son Jon and his wife Venora; her grandson Luke, his wife Margarita, and their children Victoria and Ethan; her grandson Eli, his partner Raili, and her daughter Hanna. Sheila is also survived by her many cousins and their families, including Patty Himel, her lifelong friend and confidante.
Sheila was pre-deceased by her husband Leon and her son Michael. She will be missed by many.
