BERNICE ELIZABETH KOWERKO
I met the love of my life,
And soon we became husband and wife;
The days, weeks and years passed by,
67 years in the blink of an eye.
The joys and fun were temporarily taken away on that fateful day,
We said goodbye, with tears in our eyes;
As she walked away she stepped aside and waved her hand
And there was a beautiful angel holding
her other hand,
Leading her to the promised land.
As I waved and smiled that day,
I knew we would be together one day.
As the days they pass by,
Being without her at my side
brings tears to my eyes,
Evenings are real bad
When she is not there to keep me
from being sad.
I often look at her chair to see if she is there.
Even imagining there are two of us
in the room
Helps drive away the gloom.
I know my time is coming pretty fast
And we will be together again at last.
So my lover and wife, comrade and friend,
If you still want me in the end,
I am just down the road around the bend
And I know we will be as one again,
to that I say, AMEN
Lovingly missed Tim Sr. and family
