ALLAN J. WISEMAN
Allan J. Wiseman unexpectedly passed away at home on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 72 years of age.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bessie and Louis Wiseman, and his brother, Stan Wiseman. He is survived by his loving wife Penny, and his first cousins, Elaine and Sheldon Golumbia, Reesa Niznick, Mark, Sidney, and Neal Lerner, and David Levine. He is sadly missed by his wife, cousins, and many friends from the Calvary Temple in Winnipeg.
Allan was born July 2, 1950, in Edmonton, Alberta, and was raised in a very warm and closely knit family. He married Penny, whom he met in Winnipeg, and with whom he enjoyed a wonderful married life until his passing. He was a gourmand, who had a passion for continental cuisine and wines. He loved to good naturedly debate on many subjects, had a wry sense of humour and an easy way about him.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 12:00 noon, at the gravesite of the Hebrew Sick Cemetery. Services were conducted by Rabbi Kliel Rose. Pallbearers were his cousins, Sidney Lerner and Hart Stitz, and the Chesed Shel Emes volunteers.
