  • My sincere condolences to Juergen’s mom and sister whom I’ve never met but feel I know because Jüergen spoke lovingly of them. Juergen was like a big brother to me. We clicked on our flight attendant initial training course in 1989, maybe because we were both German speakers. Our times together were always special, with laughs and tears. We had many long walks in deep conversation. He was a gentle, sweet and caring soul. I will never forget his smile when he gave me a little beaded bracelet he picked up in Shanghai. May he rest in peace. ❤️🦋 - Posted by: Marion Mancini (Friend and work colleague ) on: Feb 23, 2023

  • Juergen and I go way back to high school days working at the Concert Hall. His personality was incredibly engaging and so full of fun. He made strong friendships and unforgettable moments while working at the Concert Hall. I know I always smiled whenever I heard or called his name. My sincerest condolences to the Nikolai Family and also Thank you Gaby for helping me connect to Juergen after so many years. Rest Peacefully Juergen - Posted by: Shirley Yuen (Friends / Centennial Concert Hall ) on: Feb 23, 2023

  • Sending my deepest sympathies during this difficult time. Juergen was a bear of a man with a gentle heart. It was my privilege getting to know him since 1989 when we all started in Air Canada. He will be missed by so many people who had the chance to call him friend. - Posted by: Sonia GRAVENDICK (Friend and colleague ) on: Feb 23, 2023

  • Juergen and I both flew for AC, but we were very good buddies in Vancouver, and had many wonderful trips to New Orleans and Hawaii.
