GISELE LEMOINE

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Mémère on May 15, 2023. We find comfort in knowing that there was a beautiful reunion in heaven when God took Gisèle's hand and lead her straight to her beloved husband, René.
Gisèle was born on September 16, 1945 in Ste. Agathe, MB. She married her loving soul mate René on August 15, 1964, and they spent 37 wonderful years together until his passing in 2002. She leaves behind her legacy of love, kindness, inner strength, and devotion to family and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gerry (Linda) and Joanne (Paul), and her grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle (Dustyn), Phillip, Janine and Patrick. She will be forever remembered by her loving sisters, Angèle, Louise, Jeannine (Louis), Candace (Claude), and their families. Also left to mourn are her brothers-in-law, Fernand (Simone) and Jean-Paul (Irène); sisters-in-law, Doris (Gerry) and Juliette (Denis), and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Mathieu and Antoinette; brothers, Ronald and Gilles; mother-in-law Lucienne (Marcel), and father-in-law Benoit; brothers-in-law, Omer and Richard; sister-in-law Claire, and other family and friends who await, greeting her in Our Heavenly Home.
Gisèle had a warm, uplifting personality and touched many lives. She was always very caring and thoughtful, and held a strong faith. She loved being out in nature and spending time with friends and family. She and René enjoyed many years square dancing, travelling to jamborees, camping, and playing cards with friends and family. She most looked forward to the times spent in nature at her "little piece of heaven" in St. Malo. There, she enjoyed peaceful moments, feeding and watching the birds, and tending to her beautiful potted flowers, perennials, and tomato plants. She also loved animals and cared for many of her own, including stray cats that seemed to find her and especially her dear grand-dog Oliver (Ollie).
The family would like to thank her special friend Yvette for her endless support during both the good and difficult times in Gisèle's life.
Every time we see butterflies dancing or receive a visit from two loving birds, we will be reminded that she and René are with us and finally together again.

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. We miss you so much already. Reposez en paix chère Maman et Mémère.

A special thank you to the staff at Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Care.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Gisèle's memory to the Animal Services Agency at 1057 Logan Avenue.
Bilingual funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 27, 2023, at the St. Malo Parish in St. Malo, MB. Private interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date.
