JULIETTE MACKINNON
In loving memory of Juliette Ernestine MacKinnon (nee Allard) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully in her 94th year on May 12, 2023.
She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Donalda Blaauw, Elaine DeFries (Dan); her brother Victor Allard (Judy), sister-in-law Nellie Allard and 16 nieces and nephews and families. Predeceased by her husband Lachlan (Loc) of Calgary in 1980, her parents, Octave and Mary-Louise Allard; two sisters, Irene Lambourn, Denise Ross; two brothers, Ernie Allard and Phil Allard; and her many in-laws.
Julie was a lifetime Northern Telecom employee. She was a model in her youth and loved to socialize, travel, garden and adored her family gatherings and Casino trips with dear friends, Jack and Irene, Ida and Judy. Julie was a kindhearted, generous and caring person, with a true zest for life.
As per Julie’s wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no funeral or service. Internment will occur with family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
