KEVIN NOEL ZAK
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of our Son and Brother, Kevin Noel Zak, after heart failure in Jhongli City, Taiyuan's County, Taiwan on February 8, 2023, at the age of 47.
Left to mourn are his mother Linda Zak; his father Gerald Zak (Karen, extended family Kimberley Gallant (Shaun), Chad DeGagne (Renae Yvon) and William and Emily Gallant); brother Steven (Emilia Nyarku, her mother Roseria, her daughter Maria (Alex and their son Sam)); his favourite, Aunty Bev Campbell (her deceased husband Lou Campbell); first cousin Rodney Campbell (wife Lynn Khjarntson, daughters, Emerson, Talyor and son Brody); his cousins across Canada including their deceased parents (Murray Drummond (wife Joan); Elva and Cecil McCarthy),(Viola Quinn (ex Jack Quinn), (Lois Leslie (husband Buck). Kevin had a special love, Jenna Baker, who he loved until the day he passed. She and her daughters are part of our family now and forever.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Gloria English School in Taiwan where Kevin taught for almost 15 years. We are so proud of Kevin's accomplishments in Taiwan. He won six Teacher of the Year Awards in competition with 18 Schools owned by Gloria English School. His heart remains in Taiwan with his beloved students, co-workers and many friends, especially Amanda and Celia who he loved so very much. Kevin had such a high regard for Henry - the Director of the Schools and they had a special connection.
A celebration of Kevin's life was held Saturday, July 15 at Westwood Community Church. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Friends and Family are welcome to send condolences and share memories of Kevin to zak.linda03@gmail.com
