July 3, 1934- July 19, 2023
After a quiet, simple and well-lived life Jim Towle, died on July19, 2023 at the age of 89.
He leaves behind his wife of 30 years Marcella Towle, his children, Karen Zalaski (Alan), Stephen Towle (Michelle), David Towle (Jackie) and Janet Ledger (Ian), Marcella's children, Brenda Holodryga and Jerry Brodoway (Lorelei). Grandchildren Kelsea Zalaski (Todd), Ryan Zalaski, Madison Towle, Matthew Towle, Kailyn Towle, Nicloas Towle (Kristen), Brin Ledger (Jesse), Keilan Ledger, Emily Holodryga, Eric Holodrygo (Tess), Hilary Brodoway, Jessica Warkentin (Brent), Phillip Brodoway and Lucas Fenton.
Jim was a hard-working man who worked for Kmart as a manager for over 30 years.
His work took his family to many different places in Ontario and then to Winnipeg.
After retirement Jim and Marcella moved to Roseau River and enjoyed living along the river. Jim enjoyed travelling the world with his wife, playing ball and participating in the Seniors games. He loved gardening. Jim liked to challenge everyone to a cribbage game.
A private family service will take place. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Nature Conservancy Canada
