Irvin Randall, formerly of Gillam, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on September 19, surrounded by family, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Irvin will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Irvin was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on August 19, 1946, and raised in Hanley, Saskatchewan. Irvin worked for the railway in Gillam, MB from 1969 to 2017. He retired to Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan where he continued to be an active member of his community. Irvin was a friend and an inspiration to many, and a loving, caring source of support to his family. He made friends everywhere he went, always wanting to joke and laugh. He loved being with friends and family, as well as meeting new people. His grandchildren loved and revered Grandpa Dave.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Legion Hall in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan on Saturday, October 7, at 1:00 p.m.. Donations in his name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society if desired.
