Corey passed away on September 12, 2023, while on vacation in Quebec City, at the age of 53. Corey leaves his much-loved family: Uncle Jim, Auntie Diane, and cousins Tanya and Mike, Joshua and Ryder Thompson of Russell; and Shannon, Warren, Wynn, Payton, and Nicolas of Morris. He will be greatly missed by friends in Brandon, Portage, Winnipeg and Russell.
Corey was an engaging and outgoing personality. He never forgot anyone that he met, and loved to connect over coffee. He was especially fond of the support people in his life, and everyone at Career Connections and Avis’s Place. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Mass at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Brandon at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20. Lunch to follow.
