CHARLENE SUZANNE GUYOT

July 12, 1949 - October 4, 2023

Surrounded by her loving family, Charlene Guyot (nee Tully) of Winnipeg, MB passed peacefully on October 4, 2023, at the age of 74.

Charlene is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Dennis; four sons, Christian, Matthew (Terri-Lynne), Reald (Tiffany), and Brendan (Meghan); as well as grandchildren, Braeden, Benjamin, Allison, Luc, Avery, Caelan, and Damon. She was predeceased by her father Charles; mother Eileen; and brother Steven.

Charlene will always be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, compassion, devotion and infinite love for her family.

She always was kept warm by a cat cuddling on her lap along with a cup of tea. She loved all animals big and small, especially her many pets, and enjoyed feeding the birds and wildlife that visited her yard.

Charlene enjoyed the peace and serenity of Hillside Beach where her father built the family cottage. The flowers, trees, birds, sunsets, sandy beach and rolling waves provided the perfect setting to dip her feet in the water and relax.

Despite the many health issues that unfairly burdened her for many years, she always found a way to be positive and smile for her family.

She was a role model by simply being herself and letting her warm heart full of love lift the spirits of everyone around her. A love so strong that it will continue to live in her family and pass along to future generations.

The Guyot family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the outstanding care Charlene received from the SICU team at Health Sciences Centre during her final days.

A private service will be held for her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre or Winnipeg Humane Society in her honour.
