ALBERT FREDERICK MCRAE

Albert McRae, a cherished husband, devoted father, and grandfather, passed away on October 5, 2023, at 84.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Paulette, children Shawn (Colleen), Lisa (Rod), and Rodney (Karen), along with grandchildren, Randi (Justin), Marissa, Marley, Nathan, Evan, and great-granddaughter Olive.

Al was a warm and kind soul who touched countless lives with his infectious smile and unwavering kindness. His 61-year marriage to Paulette was a shining example of enduring love.

Al was an avid hiker. His daily walks were not just a form of exercise but a way to connect with nature and enjoy the simple things in life. Al's laughter was contagious. He had a knack for turning ordinary moments into fun-filled adventures and cherished memories. He loved playing bocce ball, bowling, golfing, and playing games.

Al was not only a dedicated family man but also a skilled owner-operator. He had a strong work ethic and was dedicated to providing for his family. He found fulfillment on the open road and the ever-changing scenery.

Though Al is no longer with us, his spirit and legacy will endure, reminding us of the importance of love, friendship, a deep appreciation for nature, and the fulfillment found in hard work and play.

Private celebrations of Al's life will be held in Winnipeg, Calgary, and Arizona.

In Al's honor, may we all strive to live life to the fullest, just as he did, and to cherish the timeless love shared with Paulette.
