Peacefully on October 13, 2023, Marion passed away at the age of 91 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Ray; parents, Earl and Vi; and brothers, Walter, Barry, Leonard and Roy.
Marion will be remembered by her children, Roy, Barb (Collin), Darren and grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers, Lloyd (Norma) and Ken; and several nieces and nephews.
Marion was born on July 14, 1932, in Boissevain, Manitoba. She loved to spend time reading, golfing, lunching with friends, as well as selling Avon for many years. The last few years she very much enjoyed her home and the people at Thorvaldson Care Centre.
The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and other hospital staff at the Health Sciences Centre, Seven Oaks Hospital and St. Boniface Hospital.
Cremation has taken place, and a funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland Street, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice.
