PATRICK JOHN CLIVE

March 27, 1946 - October 16, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Patrick Clive who peacefully passed away at Pine Fall Hospital after a short illness.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife Debbie of 32 years, along with his daughter Beverley (Dave), granddaughter Desiree (Brandon), great-grandson Odin, grandson Dylan (Minji), son Patrick (Johnny), and daughter Tammy (Brad) Stoneman, grandsons, Levi and David Stoneman, and great-granddaughter Emersyn Stoneman, his brothers, Richard and Steven Clive and nieces, Jane, Melissa and Mona. He will be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Rick (Tuulikki) MacKay, Marika (Marc), Teija, Thurston and Olever, Mathew, Rory, brother-in-law Jeff (Monique) MacKay, Anna (Austin), Tommy and Avery.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents, William and Isabelle Clive and brother Michael Clive. He will be missed greatly by all the friends and co-workers he came into contact with over the years.

Patrick was born in Montreal and left at a early age working in various jobs through his life time. He worked for CP Rail for a number of years then in 1994, got a job working in the shipping department at JELD-WEN Windows and Doors. He worked there for 17 years before retiring in 2011 to the lake, where he was truly in his glory. He loved to work outside in the yard and would also help out some of the residents cutting their grass. He took great pride in the appearance of his yard. Pat also enjoyed working with wood and making birdhouses with his wife. One of things he will be remembered for is his Christmas decorations in the yard.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at HSC and Pine Falls Hospital for taking such good care of him in his final days.

As per Patrick's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held.

Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to STARS Air Ambulance in Manitoba.
