JACK LAPUK

It was 100 years ago--on October 26--that Dad was born. After growing up in a small town in Manitoba, Dad enlisted as a teenager for the Canadian Army and served his country in Europe for six years, from 1939 to 1945. In Winnipeg, he enjoyed his family and had a long career in the federal civil service. He continuously served his community as a soccer coach ("Kick the ball!"); Cub Scout leader; and municipal, provincial, and federal political volunteer.

A wonderful legacy that we will always appreciate. --Karen and Danny.
