It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Christel Margret Kasper went to be with her heavenly father on Thanksgiving Day, Monday, October 9, 2023, at 12:05 a.m. at the age of 85. Christel was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada with her husband and daughter in 1958. She was a long-standing member of the Albright Memorial Evangelical Church, and loved reading her Bible and listening to gospel music.
Christel will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Karl of 66 years; her children, Peter, Janet and Petra; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
We would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the comfort and care Christel received during her last days.
Christel will be laid to rest at Brookside cemetery.
