It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Darlene Theresa LaForte at her residence in Selkirk.
Darlene was predeceased by her father Napoleon, her mother Victoria, stepfather Eddy, brother Elgin, stepbrothers, Christopher, Jamie, and Murray, brothers-in-law, Brian and Robert, and her angel baby.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Melissa, grandchildren, Deidre and Mason, and son-in-law Ray; sisters, Judy (Rick), Eileen and Bev; brothers, Paul (Kim), Charles (Lori), Leslie (Anita), and Joe (Abby) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Darlene’s funeral service will be Wednesday, November 1, 2023 (today) at 2:00 p.m. in the Saint Alexander Roman Catholic Parish, Sagkeeng First Nation. with Father Augustine officiating. At her request, Cremation will follow.
