MARY LOUISE STEPIC
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our mother, Mary Stepic on Tuesday October 31 at the age of 83. She fought so hard but could not overcome the complications arising from her surgery. We are thankful she is no longer struggling or in pain but will miss her dearly. We know she is rejoicing with Jesus in heaven along with her family that went home before her.
In keeping with our mother’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will take place in early 2024. A longer obituary will follow closer to the date of the service.

Mike and Mary, Stan Solic and myself along with Berta and Simon Pesun were all married within months of each other on 1962. We all went on to have children which all became close part of our lives over 30 years. We played together. Danced together, shared great times at Gull lake. Even though we were not related by blood we were always known as their aunts and uncles. Even though over the years I moved on to BC remarried into a wonderful family we always remained close friends. I will miss them dearly. God bless you both Auntie Mary and Uncle Mike. So sorry to hear about the loss of you parents. We didn't know your dad well but you mother was a kind and cheerful lady who was always a joy to be with. We first met Mary when I taught Sonja at Howden school and she was a great support for a beginning teacher.
