Rudy Ernest Hebert passed away peacefully in his sleep October 17, 2023, at the age of 78 years as a result of diabetic complications at Sturgeon Community Hospital near Edmonton, Alberta.
He is remembered by his son Duane (Tracy), four granddaughters: Kelsey, Natasha (Shallyn) Ashley, Megan (Cory) and one great-grandson Jenson, siblings: Eduard, Ted (Helena), Lily (Eric), Werner (Rochelle) and Angi (Matthew) and their children. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret Hiebert (neeThielmann).
Rudy immigrated to Canada as a three year old with his mother and his childhood years were on the Hiebert farm near Pigeon Lake, Manitoba. Most of his working years were in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario in construction. Rudy lived his life according to his own rules, right to the very end. He loved to travel, and his happiest times were behind the wheel and walking in parks and on trails. Finally at Peace.
