Jack & Emily lived next door in Sarnia in the 70s. They were wonderful friends. Jack would come over after we’d had people in from work and eat cold pizza and Chinese food because Emily didn’t like either. He loved to sit in the sun, but burned to a crisp. The family visited us when we lived in Vancouver. After Emily passed away, he didn’t send Christmas cards, but our phone would ring around the holidays and this voice would say”this is your Christmas card. We wondered why that phone call stopped, but didn’t, have a way to find out what happened. Our son in law was the person who found his obituary. We were so sorry to learn of Jack’s passing. He was such a great guy, we miss talking to him. - Posted by: Bill & judy Lapthorne (Friend) on: Aug 20, 2024
