EVA GLADYS ROSS

November 28, 1927 - January 24, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Ross, born on November 28, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She passed away peacefully on January 24, 2023. Thank you to the staff at Sterling House, Victoria General Hospital and Oakview Place for providing dedicated care in her final years and days.

Eva was a beloved wife to the late Clyde Ross, a loving mother to Corinne (Maury), a caring sister to Ginny (David) and Joyce, and a devoted grandmother to Kelsey and Spencer (Darien).

Eva was a determined soul with a sharp wit, who was full of life and joy. She was a lover of animals, especially birds, and was passionate about travelling. Eva was an incredibly clever woman who was skilled at math and puzzles, and she loved to write creatively. She was a master at playing games with her family, and had a knack for winning contests. Eva will be remembered for her fiery spirit and her ability to leave a lasting impression on everyone around her.

The world will be emptier without her in it, but she lived such a full life, and is finally free from all pain. We will treasure the good memories and lessons that she left with us.

Eva's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. An intimate gathering for Eva's Celebration of Life will be held on November 28, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. CST.
