It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Odete Maria Morais nee Soares on November 21, 2023, at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 70. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 48 years, Manuel, her children David, Cecilia (Mark), and Denis (Ashley) and her grandchildren: Tyson, Alexis, Brayden and Paris. Also, left to mourn are her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
We would like to sincerely thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, paramedics, and firefighters who attended to Odete.
A prayer vigil will be held on November 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
A Funeral will be held on November 28 at 12:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish located at 181 Austin Street.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
