PETER HIEBERT
On Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface, Peter Hiebert, 89 of Winnipeg, MB passed away.
He is survived by his wife, Esther (nee Martin); son, Rene and his family; as well as one sister and two sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank F and Margaretha (nee Banman) Hiebert and 11 siblings.
Public viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with family present from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday December 2, 2023 at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler. As per Peter’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Private interment to follow.

Peter was a fine man, a real humanitarian and a seeker for truth. We knew him in the trenches of political campaigns. We were all friends and supporters of Premier Howard Pawley.
