ELSIE SCHULTZ (ZIESMAN)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mom, grandmother, great grand-mother and friend Elsie Schultz. Elsie was born in Morris Manitoba on July 7, 1930. She met and married August in 1952 they lived in Freidensthal, Manitoba where they farmed for over 40 yrs and raised their 4 children. Elsie was very active in the Zion Freidensthal church, sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school. They travelled many places and took many cruises with Morris and Diana Webster and Cliff and Mary Neumann. Later they purchased a mobile home in Tucson Az. and spent 14 winters there. They retired from farming in 1993 and moved into a home in Emerson. After August's passing Elsie moved into Emerson Estates where she had many friends, had many coffee dates. Elsie loved going to the casino with her sisters and played many bingo games.
Her final home was at the Red River Lodge in Morris, Manitoba. Whenever we asked how she was , she would say "I have nothing to complain about" they take good care of me here. We would like to thank the staff at Red River Lodge for taking such great care of her and always making her feel at home. She was predeceased by her husband August, son Tim, daughter Marilyn and sister Emily.
She leaves to morn her sons Rick (Carol), Perry (Carol), grandchildren Sierra (Brendan), Tessa, Mark (Robyn), Bradly (Brooklyn), Daryl (Kristen), Desi (Allison), Dylan and Kelsey. Great grandchildren Kai, Maverick, Wyatt, Reece and Carter. Sisters Diana and Evelyn, brothers Herman and Edward. Cremation has taken place (Korban Funeral Chapel).
