KENNETH (KEN) JAMES JOSEPH PROULX
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved father, papa, brother, brother in-law, and friend, Ken at the young age of 53. He leaves behind his daughters Chelsey (Carlos) and Ashley (Dylan), grandchildren Caleb, Jacob and Sofia, his siblings Debbie, Jackie (Joe), and Ray (Tanya), along with many nieces and nephews and so many friends. He is predeceased by his parents Al and Dot Proulx.
A service will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery on Tuesday, December 19, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken's memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association Manitoba and Winnipeg.

My heart has been heavy all week since hearing of Ken's passing. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Although I didn't know Ken well enough for him to share with me the struggles and challenges it appears he was living with, I could sense he wasn't well as many of my loved ones also walk these horrible journeys. I am so sorry that he and his loved ones walked this path. I hope you all find peace. What I did know about Ken was that he was the kindest and most helpful neighbour I have had in my 25 years living here. When I look out my front window knowing he is not there always ready to say "hi, how's it going", surprising me with snow blowing my driveway when he was able during challenging times in my own life, or asking how my family was and sharing updates on his grandchildren, he will truly be missed. - Posted by: Jo-anne (neighbour) on: Dec 17, 2023
