Ron Schalla, our loved and adored husband, dad, G.P, brother and friend, lost his battle with cancer and went home to be with Jesus on December 6, 2023.
Ron was born June 21, 1957, to Herman & Susie Schalla as the third of four children.
Ron was a creative genius with a passion for architecture. Starting Ron’s Drafting Services (now known as Integrity Design) at the age of 14. He never stopped dreaming even until his last day. As his business
grew, he realized his heart desired more than success, and he gave his life to Christ in 1986. He married the love of his life Elisabeth in 1987 and together they raised their 3 children (Nathan, Billy and Cammie) to love and serve the Lord.
Although life wasn’t always smooth, Ron would not have traded away even 1 minute. His wife and family were his greatest gift and he prayed and thanked God daily for them. Ron was a friend to anyone and everyone. To know Ron was to know love.
He is survived by his wife Elisabeth, sons Nathan (Jenna) and Billy (Jessica) and daughter Cammie (Daniel) along with his grandchildren Austin, Scottie, Nora, and Sienna.
As much as we miss him, we wouldn’t wish it upon him to walk that path again.
His celebration of life was held at Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
