It is with heavy hearts that we announce Daniel George Kostiuk, 68, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023.
Dan was predeceased by his mother Jean and brother Robbie. He is survived by his three children, Alexander (wife Brittany), Spencer, and Lelia. He was overjoyed to spend the final years of his life with his grandchildren, Ryder and Honey. He is also survived by his father Dean, sister Lorna, and nephew Benjamin.
Dan earned his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 1981 and went on to practice law in Vancouver for over 40 years. Dan had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, travel, literature, history, piano, and the game of golf -- never missing a chance to tune in to the Masters. Dan leaves behind a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Dan and I were in the same home room in grade 12. He was very intelligent and focused, someone I have always remembered. My deepest sympathy to Dan’s beautiful family. Thinking of each of you, children, grandchildren and friends, and Dan’s Dad Dean, sister Lorna and nephew Benjamin whose losses in 2023 were profound.
