It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Audrey Walder at the age of 80.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, James, her seven daughters, fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her four brothers, two sisters, as well as many other friends and relatives whose life she touched with her genuine kindness, honesty, and corky sense of humour.
Mom was the oldest of five siblings but later thanks to DNA found three more younger brothers who came to hold such a special place in her heart.
A funeral service will be held on January 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at 4000 Portage Ave.

Our sincere condolence to Jim and the family. Audrey had a kind heart and was available to anyone who would ask for her help or advise She gave sincere helpful advise to Dave and I in our early relationship. This Sweet Caring Lady was my Friend since the 50's. We attended Many different schools together until her family moved away to the West End. We lost touch for a few years, but reunited when Audrey had her 3 little girls. She was a hard worker and a good person. We kept in touch mostly by phone and facebook. I so enjoyed seeing the pictures she posted of her Family. Family was a Big part of her life. So Happy she was reunited with her siblings in recent years. I will Never Forget AUDREY.
