GIESELA SUSANNE HANNA PLUMMER
With great reluctance we announce that Giesela Plummer, the trailblazer and advocate for the Hildebrand brood, has passed away after a brief and furious battle with cancer.
Now she will be dancing with her true love David, boating with her brother-in-law Jon, planning pranks with Henry, admiring pictures with Candice, picking lead out of Keith’s Christmas duck, and telling stories to Danny. Mother and Father, Lloyd and Dorothy, Nancy, Grace, and the many great souls that journeyed before her are there to sing hymns, and Jim is probably trying to teach everyone about sports.
Her sisters and brothers-in-law will miss her early-morning holiday phone calls, her children and grandchildren will miss her listening ears and generous encouragement, and her Church family, Winpak compatriots, and fellow line-dancing aficionados will miss her goofy sense of fun.
Her physical body has left us, but the memories of her kindnesses and compassion will carry us forward.
The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious to you, the Lord lift His countenance to you, and give you Peace.
Many thanks to the Grace Hospital for their care in her final days.
Interment will take place Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Charity of your choice (Mom gave to many!)

Gisela and I danced side by side at our line dancing class. She was quite a character and I looked forward to seeing her each week. I admired her spirit, love of dance and love of life. I will miss her. Candy - Posted by: Candy Brown (line dance friend) on: Jan 17, 2024
