ELLEN (JEAN) MCEWEN
With great sadness we announce the passing of Jean at home in Rosser, MB.
Leaves to mourn her daughters Bette (Greg), Gwen (Darcy), Laurie (Nevin), grandson Lyndon, her sister Linda Guay (Albert), many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Walter Jorgenson, brothers Allen and Bobbie. Her husband Mel McEwen.
Jean was born in Geraldton, Ontario. Attended schools in West Kildonan. She married Mel in Winnipeg in 1959, blessed with three daughters.
Jean loved the farm, her dogs, horses, watching baby foals and enjoyed seeing her race horses win races. Loved all her animals and pets.
Jean and Mel spent many winters at their second home in Phoenix.
We thank the Stonewall Staff of Home and Palliative Care, Dr. W. Hicks and Dr. K. Grahame for their compassionate care.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
