Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN MARIE LONG
It is with heavy hearts we announce our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 18, 2024, at the age of 94.
Left to mourn her passing are her children: Valerie, Richard (Pam), Susan (Garry) and Cyndi (Kim); 11 beloved grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Lillian was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Ron Long, daughter Janice, son Gregory, granddaughter Bobby-Lee, and son-in-law Gerry.
Mum was a warm and loving person. Cheerful and outgoing; easily making friends wherever she went. A busy working mum with a large family to care for, she was always on the go. Lillian was also very involved with the Manitoba Chef’s De Cuisine Women’s Auxiliary.
Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Always there for us with unconditional love. Through our precious memories she will live in our hearts forever.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or Autism Society of Edmonton.
Family and friends may view the service by following the link at the bottom of this obituary.
