Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDITH JEAN HLADIUK
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and granny.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Donald (Marianne) and daughter, Rosemarie and her grandchildren, Marla (Mike), Natasha (Kris), Nicholas (Jacqueline), Noah (Elise) and Steven. She will also be missed by her two great-grandchildren, Mila and Aria, many nieces, nephews, extended family and all who knew her.
Judy lost the love of her life, Billie, in 2003 after 49 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her parents, Rose and Joseph and her sister May Margaret and brother Andrew.
Judy was born and raised in Selkirk, MB. After meeting at a dance, Judy and Billie were married in 1953. Judy worked many years at the Royal Bank of Canada and retired at age 59.
As Judy’s health declined, she was blessed to have been cared for by the wonderful staff at Holy Family Home. The family is very grateful for the staff’s compassion and kindness to Judy.
Funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Avenue, on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing half hour prior. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery at 4477 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest donating to the Lubov Foundation or a charity of your choice.
