WILLIAM (BILL) DUNN

In loving memory of William “Bill” Dunn, who peacefully passed away the morning of January 26, 2024.

He will be remembered for his contagious smile, warmth, and dedication to volunteering. Bill exhibited a profound passion for local history, generously contributing time and energy to various community initiatives aimed at preserving and sharing the stories of Southern Alberta Ranching. He was born in Winnipeg September 18, 1934, and moved to Alberta in 1986 to pursue his dream of being a cowboy.

Bill is survived by his daughter Eileen (Rob), son Tom (Mia), grandchildren, Alexandra (Will), Taryn (Chris), Bryce and Fiona, and his five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Cayley Hall, Cayley, Alberta on January 28, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Museum of the Highwood.
