Our dear friends, words cannot describe the loss that you, and so many others are feeling with Gil’s passing. So many good times we’ve shared over the years, from fishing, camping, curling and just enjoying life. It was always fun spending time together, while making many great memories. Gil always had a way to find those outstanding hole in the wall restaurants that served amazing food, and we will always think of him on our future visits to them. He will be deeply missed, but we are thankful for all the time we spent together, and that we still have those great memories to look back on and smile. Until we meet again our friend - Posted by: Al & Sue Stutsky & family (Longtime friends ) on: Feb 05, 2024

Gilbert was a pretty special fellow. If you knew him you couldn't help but to like him. He was very open and friendly and with a great sense of humor. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He must of been loved by his family because of his positive way. His family must of been blessed to have him but this also makes it more difficult when he passed on. My sincerest condolences to Bev and her family. - Posted by: Lorne Hokanson (Friend) on: Feb 03, 2024

My deepest condolences to "the Family". Gilbert was a wonderful person. Although we were separated by time and distance for many years memories of his friendship in the “Otter Falls and Dorothy Lake days” will always be a source of great joy to me. I always have and always will think of Gil as a great friend. My heart goes out to the entire Belanger family, and know that I will, fittingly, toast Gil this evening. - Posted by: Mervin Dahl (Friend) on: Feb 03, 2024
