It is with great sadness we announce that Sylvia May Peters passed away in peace at the St. Boniface General Hospital on February 5, 2024. Sylvia was born and grew up in Pyle, Wales, as the youngest of eight children.
She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 65 years, Norman, and son Colin (Shanaz), parents, Margaret and William, and siblings, David, Bertrand, Oliver, Gwyneth, Babs, Patricia, and Bill. She leaves to mourn, her sons, Adrian (Nora), Nigel (Janice), and Gareth (Ursula) as well as 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre and Sylvia's care workers from CompCare; Kadiatu, Emily, Ruth, and Veronica.
As per Sylvia's wishes, cremation has taken place. A longer obituary and Memorial Service announcement to follow.
