JASON HAROLD LAZARKO
Jason Lazarko passed away on January 19, 2024, in Victoria, British Columbia at the young age of 29. Born on January 17, 1995, in Regina, Saskatchewan, he was the cherished son of Leah Bytheway and the beloved brother of Dana Lazarko.
After graduating high school, his passion for music and his love of snowboarding led him to working in such lovely places as The Crossings Resort and Banff in Alberta as well as Big White Ski Resort and Osoyoos in British Columbia.
Jason enjoyed fishing and all the usual water activities with his Uncle Brad, Dana, and his cousins at the family cottage on Lee River, Manitoba. He spent many summers at the cottage with his family all around. Jason's love of animals was profound, and he will be welcomed in heaven by Sheba, Rocco, and Marley.
Jason was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ione, and Harold Bytheway. He leaves behind a loving family: his mother, Leah Bytheway; his sister, Dana Lazarko; his uncle, Brad Bytheway and his cousins Brandon and Brayson Bytheway as well as the many friends he made throughout his travels who loved him and will miss him.
We will all miss Jason's keen sense of humour, quick wit, kind heart and infectious smile. A family memorial service will be held in Jason's honour.
Jason, we love you and miss you dearly.
Mom, Dana, Uncle Brad, Brandon, and Brayson
