ROBERT WADE ARGO
Robert Wade Argo, 44, of Winnipeg, MB tragically lost his life on February 11 after an automobile accident.
Wade was born on December 9, 1979, to Jim and Gloria Argo in Winnipeg. Wade was a much-wanted but unexpected blessing from the Lord, he arrived on a cool December morning with an exclamation from the Doctor, “Nurse, nurse he must be a ten-pounder!”. Growing up, his passion for food, literature, and music shone brightly. While not a musician himself, he found solace in melodies, often seen with headphones in, “borrowed” from his sister's walkman. Wade's love for debate, fuelled by a desire to be right and a knack for research, sometimes led him astray with teachers. His love for travel and photography, inspired by nature and architecture, brought him and his wife Pamela on many adventures. Recently embarking on a new journey with Winnipeg Transit, Wade found fulfillment behind the wheel, a nod to his family's trucking legacy and countless road trips with his father. Wade's collection of Bibles spoke volumes about his faith, which he eagerly shared, believing in the transformative power of a relationship with Jesus.
Wade is survived by his wife Pamela, his twin boys, Everett and Oliver, his parents, Jim and Gloria, brothers, Troy (Julie), Aaron (Renee), sisters, Lori (Mike), Tiffany (John), as well as his in-laws, Cecil and Elisabeth Underwood, brother-in-law, Matthew (Petrina) and sister-in-law Nicole (Mike) and many nieces and nephews.
In Wade's memory, his family invites you to celebrate his life and the lasting impact he made on those around him. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on March 2, at Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd. in Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family, to be put into a trust for Wade and Pamela’s boys.
In the hearts of those who knew him, Wade will be remembered as loud yet loving, strong-willed yet loyal, opinionated yet passionate. His unwavering dedication, diligent spirit, and profound love for his family will forever echo in our memories.
