SHAEDEN BLAKE STEWART

(ROAM / SHAE)

June 11, 1994 - February 28, 2024

It is with my heaviest, saddest heart that I share the passing of one of my most treasured gifts in life, my beautiful son Shae.

Shae is survived by his mom Staci and stepdad Sidney; his brothers, Kohl and Samuel; sisters, Annalise, Desirae, Nelia and Tehya; his Grampa Bill; Green Gramma Joanne (Paul); Gramma Carol, Auntie Nat, Uncle Jer, Auntie Allie, Uncle Jesse and many, many, more aunties and cousins. Shae was predeceased by his Red Gramma Lisa and dad Kerwin.

Shae was brought into this world by his beloved mother on June 11, 1994 in Winnipeg, MB, he was the first child and first grandchild. Shae loved and experienced life to the fullest. He backpacked/hitch-hiked from coast to coast meeting many friends along the way. Shae loved God, his family, music (Folk Punk was his favourite), his guitar, meditating, journaling. All in that order. He loved his black high top converse. He loved the earth, the outdoors, peppermint tea and kombucha.

Shae was always loving and encouraging to his family and others. Even though he had his own struggles, he gave of himself first. Shae could make a friend in less time it took to smoke a cigarette. Shae could always be seen with a backpack, a recovery book, a journal and a bible.

A special thanx to Klinic and RAY community resources and to his cousin Sarey and his beautiful friend Sydney.

Donations can be made to Aurora Recovery Centre in Shae's name. This will go towards a collaboration with his mom and Aurora. EMT: ar@aurorarecoverycentre.com Please write Shae's name in the message part.

A viewing and service will take place. More info to follow.

Go in peace my beautiful Shae.

Love you forever.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Shae, I'm so painfully sorry to hear of your passing. I'm so sorry to your mother and your family and friends. I'm so sorry I never got to see you again. We met so long ago and I always so wished that our paths would cross again. We met when he briefly attended school in my town over 15 years ago. As soon as I saw him, I recognized him as one of the freest and most genuine spirits. I was so happy to reconnect over Facebook a few years later. Shaeden, I will forever remember you as the most beautiful boy. Whenever I listen to Hank 3 or GG, you won't be far from my mind. Fly high🤍 - Posted by: Jana (Old friend) on: Mar 29, 2024

  • Me and Shaeden were friends as kids and had countless sleepovers at each others houses in junior high. We often got into trouble together as youngin’s and I look back on those days fondly. Although we grew apart later in life and didn’t always get along, I always hoped for the best for Shaeden. He was a kind, caring dude with a good heart. I am glad that the last time I saw him, stringing on his guitar outside of Dominion Centre, he and I were able to have a good long chat and bro out together laughing about the good times. I will cherish that final memory. Rest in Peace brother. - Posted by: Derek Morley (Old Friend) on: Mar 19, 2024

  • The youngster Shaeden was full of adventure and imagination. He loved to entertain his younger brother Kohl with his antics and it was a joy to witness their togetherness and laughter. In love and light Shaeden, Gramma Donna. - Posted by: Donna Wark (Family) on: Mar 14, 2024
