Elizabeth Jean (Nichol) Clutton-Brock passed away peacefully with family at her side on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Formerly of Winnipeg, Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Martin Clutton-Brock in July 2023. Elizabeth and Martin moved to Regina, SK in May 2019 to be closer to family.

I possibly began reading her book, Woman of the Paddle Song, more than a year ago, when I was sorting out my collected books. I know that in these crazy political times, some readers will find fault with any book. I have un-heroically and usually silently championed any first nations people and I found Elizabeth Clutton-Brock's book interesting and entertaining from start to finish.
