Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • We are ao sorry to hear of the loss of Mike. The world lost a good man. It was good to be friends on social media years ago. I respected Mike's opinion and thoughts. Mike always had encouraging and supporting words. I did tell Mike a few years ago that at the beginning of high school I used to be afraid of Mike because what I saw was a tough guy. In one class the teacher placed him right behind me. I would get to class early so I could separate his desk from mine so this way I thought I would not aggitate his desk. Mike laughed when I told him this years ago. Later on I found that he was tough but kind and thoughtful and I respected him immensely. What a great man! I am so glad we reconnected years ago. We are so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Angela Isaac (high school friend) on: Mar 24, 2024

  • Mike was one of my grade 8 students when I began teaching at Holy Cross School in Winnipeg. He was a "Norwood kid" who had so many friends and a great sense of humor. I remember him fondly for his one-liners and ability to get himself out of trouble with that grin. Rest well Mike. You were loved. Condolences to all of the family. - Posted by: Susan Rinn (Former teacher) on: Mar 23, 2024

  • Mike was a friend of our daughter's. They were still in touch, and had been since high school. Mike talked to me about being a truck driver. So sad when we heard of this accident. Sorry we will not be able to attend this event. Love to his Family. Doug and Judy Walton. - Posted by: The Waltons (Old friends) on: Mar 23, 2024
