On February 9, 2024 at 7:47 p.m. at Riverview Health Center in Winnipeg I watched as my eldest sister Barbie quietly left her body after a long battle with cancer. Her breathing gently stopped and I pray she was relieved of her intense pain.
May peace always be with you and Eugene.
She was predeceased by husband Eugene K. Meissner.
We wish you both much peace

My sincere condolences to Barb's family and loved ones. I worked with Barb in the stenopool at then called, Society of Crippled Children and adults, way back in 1976 and 1977. Just for over a year, but she always had the lasting impact and I never forgot those memories of Barb. I could notice her strength and positivity in her life, which rubbed off on me!
